New Poetry Book!

rack card starter

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been working on a poetry book for the past several months and I wanted to share some information about it. The book will contain fifty poems that deal with different topics. I categorized the book into five different sections that include the following subjects: nature, mankind, music, dismal thoughts and the metaphysical. This is my first poetry book and I hope to have it published in about two weeks.  The book will be available on CreateSpace and Amazon.

Here is a brief summary from the back cover:

Ephemeral Thoughts is Avery Griffin’s first poetry book and second published work. Griffin has imbued her passion for nature, fantasy, science fiction, and many more subjects into the poetry found in this book. Readers will be taken on a journey of Griffin’s thoughts as they delve into the poems, such as “Creatures of the Night,” “Silent Forest,” and “To Mankind.” Readers are sure to enjoy the photography and digital images that accompany a number of the poems in this collection. The images are meant to enhance the reader’s experience; these visual components were designed to complement the writing itself. Readers of all ages will be delighted by this thoughtful collection of poems.

Hi everyone,

I have posted a new book review in my review section. The review is for 84, Charing Cross Road, a charming book chronicling the 20 year correspondence between Helene Hanff, an author and Frank Doel, a book shop owner. I really enjoyed reading this book. You should check it out if you love books and reading.

Praise for The Demon Rolmar

Hi Everyone,

My debut publication, The Demon Rolmar has been on the market for three months. Marketing the book has been a difficult process. I’m not a marketing expert, but I’ve learned a few things about marketing itself just from trial and error. It tends to be a very tedious and time consuming process. If you’re thinking about marketing your book by yourself, be prepared to spend hours on this process.

Also, I’ve been trying to find reviewers for the book, but it hasn’t been easy. I’ve received some reviews from kind individuals who were willing to write a review in exchange for a copy of the book. Please let me know if anyone is interested in reviewing my book.

A New Book Review!

I usually don’t read a lot of non-fiction, but I tend to make exceptions for self-help books and books of quotations. Adventure Inward: A Risk Taker’s Book of Quotes is a book that can be enjoyed by people from all different walks of life. I enjoyed reading this book because of the universal appeal it has. You can read it from cover to cover, or just skim through the quotes. Either way, this book is likely to entertain.
